From BR 101 Rio Santos, towards SP-Rj, there is an entrance on the right to Praia Brava da Fortaleza (about 25 km before reaching the center of Ubatuba, or later, if you are coming from RJ) - This is the same entrance. to Dura Beach, Vermelha Beach (South), Brava Beach and Fortaleza Beach. This entry is called the Estrada Vereador José Alves Barreto or Estrada da Fortaleza. At night it is dimly lit and not busy, but don't worry, the neighborhood is super safe, come slowly and watch out for the curves.

For those coming by bus: Once you get to Ubatuba Bus Station just take a taxi or the municipal bus named FORTALEZA from VerdeBus. The starting point is very close to the bus station and the descent point is at Praia Brava da Fortaleza, in front of the Mirante do Pirata.
